TEMPORARY INPUT COST ADJUSTMENT LEVY NOTICE

Over the past months, the ongoing instability in global energy markets has continued to put pressure on many of the core materials and services we rely on. Rising crude oil prices have had a direct flow on effect to essential petroleum based materials such as the polyethylene resins we use in our manufacturing, as well as freight and transport costs for both incoming supplies and outgoing deliveries.

We have done everything we can to absorb these increases behind the scenes. However, the speed and scale of these cost changes have now reached a point where we need to make a temporary adjustment.

Starting 1 April, Rapid Spray will be introducing a 3.5% Temporary Input Cost Adjustment Levy on all new orders and the invoices associated with them. Orders placed before 1 April will not be affected.

This measure is intended to be short term. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and revise the levy as conditions demand on a monthly basis.

Our priority is to ensure you continue receiving the quality, reliability and support you depend on. Your understanding during this challenging period is genuinely appreciated, and we thank you for your continued partnership.

FAQs

What is the Temporary Input Cost Adjustment?

This is a temporary 3.5% cost adjustment applied to new orders to help offset rising input costs across materials, freight, and production.

Why is this cost adjustment being introduced?

Ongoing volatility in global energy markets has driven up crude oil prices, which directly impacts key materials like polyethylene resins, as well as freight and transport costs. While we have absorbed these increases for as long as possible, the scale and speed of cost changes mean a temporary adjustment is now necessary.

When does the cost adjustment take effect?

The cost adjustment applies to all new orders placed from 1 April onwards.

Will existing or prior orders be affected?

No. Orders placed before 1 April will not be subject to the cost adjustment.

Is this a permanent price increase?

No. This is a temporary measure designed to respond to current market conditions.

How much is the cost adjustment?

The cost adjustment is 3.5% and will be applied to the total value of new orders and reflected on invoices.

How long will the cost adjustment be in place?

We will review the situation monthly and adjust or remove the cost adjustment as market conditions stabilise.

Will the cost adjustment be adjusted if conditions improve or worsen?

Yes. The cost adjustment will be reviewed monthly and may be adjusted, reduced, or removed depending on market conditions.
